Dr. Kaye is the director of colon and rectal surgery at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center. He is board certified in colorectal and general surgery. He is also a Fellow of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, as well as the American College of Surgeons.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Boston University's Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences in 1998, where his focus was in Human Physiology. He then matriculated to The Chicago Medical School where he received his M.D. in 2002.
His surgical residency from 2002-2007 was completed at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center in Manhattan's Upper West Side, where he received the coveted Chief Resident of the Year Award.
Dr. Kaye furthered his training In Columbus, Ohio at The Grant Medical Center/Ohio State University Colon and Rectal Fellowship from 2007 to 2008.
Dr. Kaye specializes in all aspects of non-surgical and surgical treatments of diseases of the colon, rectum, and anus. He has a particular interest in minimally invasive surgery, and has been utilizing the da Vinci robot in the treatment of colon and rectal cancer, diverticulitis, and inflammatory bowel disease. He was the first surgeon in Rockland County to perform a robotic colorectal resection, and the first surgeon in the county to perform a robotic cholecystectomy.
A seasoned and published surgeon, who has performed hundreds of robotic colorectal procedures, Dr. Kaye has been named one of Castle Connelly's Top Doctors of the Hudson Valley for five consecutive years. He continues to bring cutting edge and compassionate care to the region.
